TWICE is a South Korean girl group formed by JYP Entertainment through the 2015 reality show Sixteen. The group is composed of nine members: Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu. The group debuted on October 20, 2015 with the title track Like Ooh Ahh.

On November 11, the music video for “Like Ooh-Ahh” hit 100 million views on YouTube, making Twice the fourth K-pop girl group to reach 100 million views, as well as the first K-pop group to reach this milestone with a debut music video. And then, before Like Ooh Ahh hits 100 million views, TWICE released there second single Cheer Up. Twice’s second EP, Page Two, was released on April 25, 2016. The album includes the single “Cheer Up“, “Precious Love” (a remake of Park Ji-yoon‘s 1998 hit), and “I’m Gonna Be a Star”, which served as the theme song for Sixteen. Twice won their first music program award with “Cheer Up” on May 5, on M Countdown, exactly one year after the initial airing of Sixteen. This was soon followed by wins on Music Bank and Inkigayo.  By August, Page Two had sold over 150,000 copies, making Twice the first girl group having a sales record of more than 100,000 units that year.

TWICE is also the first ever girl group to won an daesang award (Song of the year) in MAMA for 3 consecutive years. These songs are Cheer Up (2016), Signal (2017) and What Is Love (2018) and now TWICE once again nominated in MAMA Song of the year with a song Fancy ( I hope they win).

AS ONCE

ONCE is TWICE fandom name. As ONCE I’m proudly that I stan the right group. First of all I’m a fan of TWICE since Sixteen and still I’m still a proud ONCE. As the time passes by I see how TWICE worked so hard just to impress and make us happy. TWICE is one of the most hated group of 3rd gen because of their unstable vocals and their concept which is cute but now they change there concept to girl crush concept. When I was listening to their music and vocals it wasn’t that bad, but it doesn’t matter because atleast they worked so hard and improve. No matter what the haters say to them as ONCE we won’t leave and we will keep supporting and love TWICE as TWICE promised to us. LET’S SPREAD THE LOVE AND LOVE TWICE.

ONCE

ONCE is the official fandom name for the South Korean girl group Twice. On November 4, 2015 – Twice released their official fandom name through their official instagram account. The girls posted a photo above to Instagram as well as the message, “A lot of fans liked ‘Once,’ ‘Once and TWICE.’ Once then TWICE. They seem to go together. If you love us even once, we’ll repay you with TWICE our love. It’s difficult to connect with people, and getting people to love is the most difficult of all. We’ll work hard so that you can look at us once, and fall in love with us TWICE. Be with us until the end. We love you. <3.”
